Quilter from Costa Rica and Canada
Hi from Costa Rica, where it isn't quite as sunny as it sounds as the rains are starting a little early this year. Lots of fog means staying inside and--what else--quilting.
I spend 6 months over the course of the year here in San Isidro de San Ramon and the other six months in Calgary, Canada.
I have not been quilting for too long--always said it was silly to cut up good fabric only to sew it up again, but the stash was getting so big I thought to do something with it--so have made about 16 quilts in just over a year--all given away to families here in Costa Rica.
Problem is the stash isn't getting any smaller--the fabric prices here are so-o-o low!
Hope to hear from other CR quilters if there are any, or others just about general quilting.

Welcome to the board! Just heard the first big crack of thunder and lightning a couple minutes ago. Ran outside to see if any trees fell. Thank goodness not. Happy for you that the fabric prices are reasonable. Just used last coupon for the month of April from JoANn's and Michael's. This board is like an encyclopedia of all things quilting and sewing.
