Hello Marie...
It is nice that you have that memory of your grandmother's quilts. My sister has the only one our Mother made and when I visit her I have her get it out so I can visualize my Mom hand sewing the quilt top.

Welcome to the QB... I lived in Las Cruces for several years about 40 years ago! Met my husband at Pancake Alley..he came to White Sands often to launch rockets... and he really is a rocket scientist! lol Now we live in beautiful Oregon...

Welcome from El Paso, Texas....isn't this quilt board just the best thing come and going??? I have loved it forever, well at least as long as I found it. They will find anything you are looking for and help you with anything. This board is amazing....
