I'm in Texas - Sw of Houston - and figured you were staying inside because of the 105 temp! :)

I just started year number 34 teaching elementary music. I'm a big jealous of those of you who retired. My husband just retired after 28 years of teaching - which is why I'm still going at it. ;)

    Welcome!

Got my machine back. Yeah! Discovered cheap thread inherited from my m-i-law is not kind to my new machine.

Yes these temps have increased my quilting/sewing production.

How many Texans are getting out starting this Thursday for Quilt across Texas?
I'm so excited. This is like Christmas.

You do the shop hop for me! Since I'm available only on weekends I just can't work it out. My region has 14 shops to visit and it stretches from Corpus Christi to almost Louisiana! When I'm in the Hill Country for a wedding Sept. 24 I'm going to go to as many of those shops as I can, but doubt I'll complete a region. So ... hopping a bit, but not completing - that's my plan and I'm sticking to it.
