Hi everyone I am so glad to be part of this great group.
I live in Indiana an have been sewing for a while now and have 15 grandchildren and 5 great and love them all so very much.
They have started to ask me to sew new things for them and I am going to make my first quilt for one of them for her Birthday so I am new at this but looking forward to trying.
Thank you for letting me be part of your group.

Welcome from the Sho-Me State - Missouri. If you were a garment sewer and can read pattern directions, you will do great with quilting. But, you have to be able to sew a very accurate 1/4 seam allowance - much different that the seam allowance on clothing. My advice would be to start out fairly simple and fairly small.
