This is what i used..by Pellon. it looks like a light muslin/cotton, iron on. i used a coupon of course at Joanns.
the quilt teacher,saw me looking perplexed at the stabilizer section, she asked me what i was going to use it on, and i told her, and she suggested using this..
it worked like a dream..i even pieced a few on the back of the t-shirts..i don't like to waste!

I use a light weight interfacing that irons on. I cut the tshirts a bit bigger than I want to end up with and put interfacing on. Be careful not to iron on the front side on tshirt unless you have the print covered with an ironing cloth as the heat of the iron can take the print off or make it smear. good luck
