Welcome to the board from South Louisiana. SewTinker, I know how it feels to be "out" of your sewing room. We used my sewing/scrapbooking room as a storage room while we remodeled the kitchen. It took months to sort through all the things that had been carried in there and finally I am getting to the bottom of things and the room is becoming mine. I probably did drag my feet some but I found it very frustrating. It has one great plus. I was able to use one of the upper cabinets to store fabrics. This weekend DH replaced the shelves that had been removed to hang the cabinet. I look forward to many hours of productive sewing in my refurbished room. I wish you luck and many hours of relaxed sewing in your new area.

thank you, Everyone, for the Warm welcomes from all over the place, too! xoxo
rebeccalr - (hoping LQS, means Little Quilt Shop??) there had been a nice quilt shop in Mount Juliet, but it's closed. Lebanon has a fabric store with lots of quilt fabric, but they do not Present as a quilt shop - no kits or fat quarters, or goodies. There is a Fantastic quilt shop in goodlettesville. Among the best I've been to. I've developed a "problem" with bridges, so I don't get up that way often (my husband has to drive me), luckily for my pocketbook. heh-heh
and you?
