One day I will try the old way of quilting, all by hand. I learned machine quilting 30 years ago.....started with Eleanor Burns Quilt in a day log cabin. She explains every step and makes it very easy. Gained lots of confidence after that and now skys the limit :-D

Welcome from NW Wisconsin! My attitude toward anything about sewing and quilting is: Just Do It! It can always be unsewn or made into something else, if it doesn't turn out the way you wanted.
And, find the right person to show your efforts to. Preferably someone who thinks that everything you do is wonderful! (I have a sister and several sisters-in-law who do that for me.)
