I just finished this top for Valentines Day. I named it Ribbon Hearts. It is a pattern that I designed and I think I will make another one in a twin size. This would be good for a little girl. Just wanted your opion ladies of what you think - good and bad. :D

Very cute. Did you make it with a particular little girl in mind?

No, it is a mystery quilt that I designed. I just sent the pattern to the copyright office and then it will be ready in about 8 months. Can you believe it takes that long?

Anyway, no little girls yet. My first is getting married at the end of the year. With 7 kids, I kind of expect for there to be a windfall after that, and then grandbabies! :D

I love it! How do you submit to the copyright office?

I love it. I could be your adopted girl and you could send it me. :-) :-) :-)
You did a great job. Thanks for sharing.

Go to the copyright office on your computer. Download the application and send it in with $45.00 and a copy of your pattern. You must research your pattern first to make sure that someone else does not already have a copyright on it. I have 2 patterns in the office now that should be back this month. I submitted them last June. I have 2 more ready to go. Even though the directions say that it take about 3 months, it acutally takes anywhere from 8 - 10 months.
