I want to make a small baby quilt for my new grandson.
I have no idea what I'm doing, & I'm really hoping for
alot a help. I've been wanting to make a quilt to years, but
never had the courage, till I saw this site, and maybe I can
do it. I am 60 yrs. old, live alone in an apt. have 3 grown
kids, and 7 grandkids. oldest is 12 down to 4 months.
I'm very nervous right now. My name is Chris And thank
you for letting me be here.

First how large a quilt do you want to make?

What colors do you want to use. You can get a kids panel of dogs or cats or some other design and put a couple borders on it.

Hello and welcome from Alabama, glad you are here. There are so many talented folks on here, your sure to get lots of help, all you have to do it holler, or ask a question, someone will answer and usually very fast, sometimes before all of your post shows up. The search button will yield great results if you type in baby quilts or similar. Under home , click pictures for some great inspiration. Happy sewing
