I fulfilled a dream I've had for 20 years to live in Washington by moving up here last December. It was definitely the right decision, as I love the area so much and am thrilled to be out of southern California!
My quilting has come to kind of a standstill for the moment. I don't have a cabinet yet (it's on order) and in the meantime all my chairs are bar stool height so I literally have to stand up to operate the foot petal! Not very comfortable! My sewing paraphernalia is spread from hither and yon, so it's nearly impossible to get anything accomplished. When that cabinet comes, it will make my life so much easier, and hopefully then I'll be able to get serious about learning to quilt!
Thanks to all of you who have replied. I really feel welcome and am looking forward to you all helping me out when I get stuck -- which I anticipate will be often! :roll:
