I subscribe to the daily Tipnuts, and find lots of interesting
things that I plan on doing, a few that I've already done, and
sometimes it gives me ideas of other things to do..such as ice cream cones. I got 2 large planter pots at the dollar store, and got two large plastic balls that nested neatly in them. Then i covered the pots with plastic wrap and put the balls back on them, and covered them with a layer of paper mache. I filled the pots with plastic peanuts and quik set cement. When the top was dry put on colored grout to make them look like huge ice cream cones, and put them out on the patio picnic table.
You could make them any flavor you want. Remove plastic when the top grout is dry, or add a touch to make it stick to the top.

These are great little patterns whether or not you have scraps to use. And they include step-by-step diagrams! That is my kind of pattern!
