Do you cut all your pieces from one side? The woman demonstrating the Alto at the quilt show did strips from one side and cut the pieces from the other side. I asked her if you could cut everything from one side she said "No". I don't see why you can't. Can't you turn it around if necessary. Sorry for all the questions, just really interested in your thoughts.

The reason you cut from both sides is so that you don't have to move the fabric. It really is quite easy to move the cutter over. Have you watched the video on their website, it's very informative.

I paid $200 for mine at a quilt show. For me it was worth the money to get an accurate cut.

They were selling for $229 at the NJ Quilt Fest show last weekend.
