Attaching cording to leader cloth??

Default Attaching cording to leader cloth??
I have the start right leader cloth from Grace Co. and would like to add 1" cording to the top leader. How is this done, i.e. sewing the leader cloth around the cording or is there a secret way to get it on? Help.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. I don’t have a long arm but Lorena of Lorena’s quilting has numerous videos on YouTube, I think she has one on leaders.

May I ask why you want to attach cording to your leaders? I have a long arm and cannot think of a reason why you would want to do this.
