Wow, this is so cool ohio star with rail fence! Also she has a tutorial for us to make these blocks.

    I love this site!

If you make any of these, please post a picture on her website and post a picture here so we can all enjoy looking at the beautiful quilts.

I'm in the middle of quilting this pattern right now, although not quite as large as hers. Just love the design! 6" Ohio stars were a might challenging for me but I muddled through.
The photos don't show real well, but the blues are stippled (my first real attempt) and the red stripes have a free-motion curlycue with a star (some chalk marks are visible). Blue border will have the same design only larger. Not sure what to do with the whites yet.....suggestions?
    Ohhhh's and ahhhh's are welcome! :-)

You did a beautiful job. I hope, when I make it, it turns out as good as yours.

I have made two of this quilt pattern in the same colors. I absolutely love the pattern, it is so easy with just two blocks and works up quickly with rotary cutting methods.

I did my Ohio Stars with strips, marked for HSTs, sewn and cut open then sewn again in the middle with opposite colors faceing each other.

I am going to attempt this quilt in just blue and white in the near future, with the red being replaced by a blue/white print.

Yellows would be a great replacement for the red too (IMHO anyway--LOL)!

Bonnie Hunter has one of the best online quilting sites. She has a new quilting book out now too. She is generous with her quilting patterns and offers most of them for fee.
