Default Backing at Marshall's Dry Goods

I also wanted to give a heads up for anyone looking for 108" backing fabric, they have Mary Fons for $3.99 a yard some of them remind me of reproduction fabrics. So although I am upset about the shipping cost it was awesome to find such an incredible price for backing fabric. I happen to be one who doesn't really like to piece my backings so for me this is amazing. I mean I know they have nice wide backing for $8.99 and up but I didn't know they had this price and the quality of their fabrics are great.

They have a section here about their shipping rates:
https://marshalldrygoods.com/faq/home/

If you have questions or concerns I would give them a call, You don’t say how much you ordered, but sometimes we forget that fabric is heavy when a lot is placed in a box.

I just checked and their shipping charges are quite reasonable.
Up to 10 yards for 7.00 is one. A flat rate envelope is around 6.75 USPS.

But the backing fabric is shipped according to weight. By FedEx or USPS, whichever is cheapest.

I order online and shop in person at Marshall's Dry Goods. I've never had a problem with shipping costs. The service is fast. If you order anything add a yard of Dream Cotton to your order. I can't tell any difference from Moda Bella. I buy it by the bolt Anyone can call a rep and order the bolt at a lower price per yard.
If you go to Marshall's go in the back and watch the employee do the online orders. It's gives a better appreciation of the work and detail that goes into doing that. The warehouse is big, friendly, and open to browsing to your heart's content.

Yes, I love it there. I'd rather go to Marshall's than Disneyland.
