Thanks for the site info. I love wide backs. Thankfully I didn't find what I was looking for - I ordered a purple from Hancocks of Paducah, but apparently it is on back order, good thing I didn't need it immediately!

I cannot pay $19 to $21 for backing fabric. I go to SAS fabric store or ebay and pay $5.99 yard, not so many choice of color but great backing that is 105 to 108 inches wide

Checked out Ma's site and I loved the wide selection of 108" fabric. However.......it looks like they only ship UPS, not a viable option for shipping to Alaska. For a 3 yard order it would add about $75.00 in shipping charges!! One of the big pet peeves of Alaskans when it comes to doing business with Outside companies. Our Canadian quilters know what I'm talking about. Plus on a side note, UPS has been known to actually take the package to the Post Office and mail it at the lower rate and keep the change. Or they don't bother to get a physical address, they just drop it off at our local post office and let them figure it out. All that being said, I still wouldn't move to the Lower 48 for anything. Alaska is home.
