    This is my little basket that won a blue ribbon at the 2009 Michigan State Fair. They are really fun to make, especially since you can use that fabric that you don't know what else to do with it. One lady in the class had to have had the ugliest fabric I have ever seen (she said it before I even thought it) and her basket was absolutely beautiful. I tried to keep my edges as unraveled as possible as I like the cleaner look. If you want it more rustic, ravel the threads as you wrap the clothesline.
