Default Big Sale at Hancock Fabrics!

Hancock Fabrics is celebrating their 57th Anniversary with a big sale. May types of things are marked at 57% off.

I just bought Warm & Natural Batting for $6.01 a yard (57% off of regular $13.99), plus I had a coupon for an additional 10% off, so my final cost was $5.41 per yard.

Yay!!! Can't beat that! Everyone should head on down to Hancock's for some great deals.

If a Walmart is in the same town as Hancock's , Walmart will honor the sale price. I use the price app and show it to the cashier, I always get the sale price of the other stores.

I would rather give my money to a local fabric store than to walmart. The local fabric stores will always have more items for me to buy than walmart and I feel I should support than more than any walmart.

I personally can't afford my LQS. Average fabric price is over $11 per yard. I won't pay that, so I take advantage of my local Walmart and use online sales most of the time. We don't have a Joannes near us.

If the price is lower at any store that's where I'll buy if the item is what I want. I sleep better with money in my pocket then knowing I give a business my loyalty by giving them more of my money.

Cool

Thanks for the info on Hancocks! I don't feel bad about buying at Walmart - they are a big corporation, but they do hire people in my area and make it possible for all of them to support their families... I love Hancock - the workers at our local store are so helpful and fun to visit with, also go to JoAnn's sometime too - not much fun there. I always look for quilt shops whenever I travel
