I am always working towards a more perfect corner. Does it always happen? No, but maybe with this it will be closer. Will see.

Many thanks for the link. I'm about to quilt and bind my latest project and believe I will try his tip. I've struggled with getting a perfect 45 degree angle on each and every quilt so maybe this will help me do it right.

I don't understand what you are saying here. I use double fold (french) binding. Machine sew it to the top of the quilt, using the 45degree sewn corner like is shown in video. Then I hand sew the binding to the back. Works for me. How do you do your binding?

couldn't have come at a better time. i was just reading over how to put the binding on my quilt, i am still new at this, when i stopped and checked my mail first. i will use this technique and see how it works. thanks for sharing

How does doubled binding work?

I like his hint about cutting off that little triangle........but I did notice he does not use walking foot, or does his machine have the built in one?
