Exclamation brother scan n cut at HSN

It's the newer wireless version. $299 with flex pay available. Free shipping too, I think, and if you search there's a coupon for both new and returning customers. If you do ebates, you can get 6% back.

Have never considered a fabric cutting machine. Is it for applique? Or cutting all of your fabric?? I know how often I have to change blades, would that be necessary also, or has that been eliminated?

It can be used for applique. I don't own one so I'm not sure of the details, but there would be a need for changing blades at some point. You could cut piecing squares/rectangles/triangles on it but I don't think I'd use it for that myself.

It can be used on paper, stencil material or fabric. Great for appliques. You can draw line for quilt 1/4 inch placements, as they have 2 types of pens for fabric. I think there are 5 colors for paper. Than the cutting blade is fabric or paper. Real easy to change out.

I purchased one at a local quilt shop. Haven't had much time to practice on it yet, but I plan to do just that this winter when I have more time.

From the demo I saw when it first came out, you can program it to cut applique and blocks. Anything you can fit on the square platform. Can NOT cut any jelly roll strips.

According to my BFF, this is a great buy, the newer version that you can send something from your printer wirelessly. She paid $200 more for the older model!

I think the 6% at ebates must have been a special double rebate at the time. It's only 3% now.
