Fun! Thanks for posting. Your little house is adorable and makes me want to start NOW. I am thinking about doing it. I am Dutch also so it is fun for that reason too. I must say the blocks are tiny. Maybe I will make a bigger block. I am thinking something like a block a day. So I better get in gear before the new year starts. By the way I am with you on the paper piecing for a block this size.

LOL Also a transplant? No matter where I have gone in the world I have run into Dutch people.

What an adorable little house! I printed out the patterns and am going to give this a try...I have more scraps than I care to admit to owning and live small projects! Thank you CatRancher for giving us this link! How Fun! Think I'll go make one right now!

Great! I'm glad you like it. Quite a few people seem to be having trouble with the link. Weird that some people, including me, can open it and others can't. I don't claim to have any understanding of such things. In any case, if anyone wants the pattern and you're having trouble, just send me a PM with your email, and I'll send it to you. Also, if you want the paper-piecing pattern, I have that too. I don't think there's a way to post it here, so I need your email.

I printed out the pattern and am going to try this also. I've never paper pieced so will have to look up how to do it. I have lots of small scraps and time though so it should be fun. Thanks for the link!

There are some excellent videos on YouTube, and I swear by the add-a-quarter ruler. You can certainly get by without it, but I think it's a big help.

Default Adorable little house!

Your little house is so cute! I love little patterns and I love working with scraps, so I just had to make one. I'm of Dutch descent (last name is Booy), but can't speak it, so the writing on the linked website was "Greek" to me. Anyway, here's my little house!
