To All
I am grateful that you linked tome it helped me to find this forum. Sorry the blocks are still in storage from my move I have had some real bad health issues since moving and have not been able to unpack most things I own.

Interesting statement that you have "the book" as there are tons of books on this technique. This technique is ages old I have one my husband's great grand mother made around the early part of the 1900's (c. 1930 -1940 long before I was ever born ). I never claimed it was my original idea I only stated that I had looked at several sources and took the parts from several different areas that I liked and made my own version of it that suited me.

Better than a couple thousand years ago, there was a realization that there was nothing new under the sun. (See Scripture- Ecclesiastes 1:9.)

Personally, I truly appreciate everyone's different approaches to tried and true, but not yet fully explored.

Here's to celebrating innovation. Keep it coming! This was a great thread and I bookmarked it weeks ago. Thanks!

Made that comment, because the tutorial I saw was exactly like the steps in my book. Sorry you took it personally, but it was just an observation. Guess the board police must have mentioned it since you just joined today. Usually we have freedom of speech on the board and if it changed no one told me. Not sure why my short comment was worth mentioning. Oh well

I didn't take it personally at all just was clarifying that all. I would expect the steps to be the same as the book you have is teaching the same block makes perfect since have a lovely day was never upset. Sorry if it sounded that way
