Default Creativity - Starting to Quilt

I think this is quilting advice, though it's titled Storytelling. Ira Glass describes the process of creativity, but it perfectly explains what every quilter goes through. What do you think?

Thanks for sharing, esp since I like to listen to Ira on NPR.

This goes along with the book "Outliers" where you learn how much it took for some to get so good. And ... sometimes it is being in the right place ant the right time and seizing the opportunities that we don't know are close by.

I can appreciate the authors comments. If I thought for a second that the quilts I made early on would be of same or similar today oh ... I should have tossed all of it . Oh ..how I look back at the early years of quilting and I am grateful my journey went way beyond.

I think the journey is the point, too. Glad there are some other public radio fans out there!
