I made sample blocks and for every one DNP block you get two using this new method. I used 6 1/2" blocks to make the DNP. Here are the blocks. None are sewn together just laid out.

I love that! I haven't even tried the D9P yet but I am pretty sure I saw a quiltalong with a block that looks just like this one. I'm not sure that they're using this method though.

edit-I looked at the quiltalong and it's not like this. But I'm going to try this, i think.

I just finished this, made it smaller so had 4 squares left and made a table runner.
