I know I'm a dunce when it comes to computers, but just what does DEFAULT search engine mean? I know what a search engine is. Thanks for shedding some light on the subject for me.

You specify which organization you want to receive the benefit from your usage of Goodsearch.com. That org. must be an IRS approved non-profit, of course, which is public record, so they're verified almost immediately. Your designation remains until you change your selection. Besides benefitting good causes, it's a darn good search engine.
