Not sure I'm doing this right or in the right location but I was surfing on Craigslist and saw this. Those of you who collect FW's might be interested. Just wish the photo had printed out. She's absolutely perfect for some lucky person.

This is an AMAZINGLY KEPT AND COMPLETE KIT!

Originally purchased in 1935, this machine hasn't even seen it's first stitch yet. It has remained
undisturbed for 81 years.

Every piece, every user's guide is intact. Her lustrous finish/gold accents are perfectly unblemmished.
The original bulb still lights the way. Hit the pedal and she sings beautifully. Even the seal on the
original Singer lubricant has never been opened. Both keys to the carrying case are brand new in
original envelope and have never been used.

We have searched for years and there are no completely kept, never used, completely preserved
Singer 221-1 kits available. Guarenteed great investment. This is "her" first debut as FOR SALE.

Call (707) 446-6114 to buy.

I actually ended up buying this machine, it is in amazing condition, but NOT unused as implied in the ad. After talking to the woman who had it for sale, I do believe that she thought it was unused, and wasn't trying to deceive, but I feel that it most certainly was used. There is some marring on the head, pin and scratch marks on the bed and some sort of bubbling in an area of the finish on the fold down table. Still quite a beauty though and I am glad to have her!
