Thanks to everyone who's posted links to free patterns I now have enough ideas to keep me busy 'till 2012!

I found this site for Red Rooster Fabrics that has 3 different Ricky Tims quilts on pages 2 and 3.

I just bought his book Convergence Quilts on Ebay. Got a real deal. Nine dollars. No-one bid against me. It was a store seller and other books were being bid on but it was as if they did not check out the Ebay store items. Wierd. The book is awesome, I am excited to get started to make one. And his book is fun to read too. Tells about how he started and more. I posted a thread here, a few months ago about another online forum that did a quilt along for his convergence quilts, and they had his permission. It is somewhere here from a few months ago. Maybe I have it in my favorites still. I will check later. But... Thanks for the lead on these patterns. I like scroll type of quilts. The first one looks doable. The second is a lot more complex.
    Good Lead! :D

Thank you so much for this site. I just printed the pattern called Bread & Butter. Sometimes I like to make a quilt that has several smaller sections to make, then put together. It's nice to have two different things going at one time, that way if one gets bored you can drag out the other one!! :D

Hey Sulabug, I downloaded the "Bread and Butter" one too, I don't know what it is but I find the pattern very appealing.

I'm jelouse DonnaRae! One of the LQS has his book and I realy want to get it but then I keep thinking of all the fabric I could buy with that $30! Up untill 2 months ago I had never heard of Ricky Tims, but now love his stuff and was suprised and very happy to stummble on these free patterns.

Oh, I like fabric, books and patterns and in no specific order. If I can get any of the three for good price I'm in. LOL.... I have booko booko patterns. If I lived to be 500 I couldn't make them all. But I tell my DH I need the varity for more options. Too funny. I also sew stuffed animals, purses, accessories, and sometimes clothes. So that is why so many books and patterns. And then of course you need all the fabric. Now I am on to my DH to build me a new sewing room out of our carport. I think he is going to. He said I don't fit in my sewing room now. LOL.

My problem is I've become a quilt magazine junkie over the last few months. If I stop buying them I could easily justify getting at least one good book a month.

Oh Yeah, I was a magazine junkie for a while. A long while. I don't any more and am going to figure out a way to keep them so I know what patterns I want to use. But I did get the online subscription for Quilters World. For $14.00 You get all the past magazines and 2 year online subscription. I don't know if the special is still on. I thought it was only 2 years of back issues but the back issues go all the way to 2005. And they use to be every two months instead of quarterly. So I have been busy downloading the magazines. Thanks goodness I have a zip program to condense everything, LOL...
