Thanks for the reminder. I used to save their freebies and had forgotten sometime ago. This is a nice set of designs. I especially like the cross-stitch ones like these.

They fit the 4 x 4 hoop. These are cross stitch machine embroidery (the link at the bottom) or if you hand stitch, the other link is to download the chart.

Thank you Jean. Were you able to download the last of the doorway designs? I didn't see links except to color charts for hand embroidery.

    14 count = 4 1/8" x 4 5/8"
    16 count = 3 5/8" x 4 1/8"
    18 count = 3 1/4" x 3 5/8"

They are small but you can use larger material or work over two threads. You could go as large as hooked rug canvas with wool if you want to. There is a lot of detail in them and that is what makes them so nice.

My idea is to try a quilt with the patterns.

    have fun!

Thank you! I LOVE teacups and have a hand cross-stitched project matted and framed. I plan to buy an embroidery machine in the near future and hope to utilize these!

    How do you use these?
Wish someone could teach me. I have a simple embroidery machine, but don't use it except to quilt.

There were 3 free sets; the tea set, the doorways and the snowmen. How very pretty are they all.

Thanks a lot Jean, I downloaded two of them to try. Someone said they wished they had an embroidery machine. I bought the inexpensive Brother at Walmart for just under $400 and really like it for the simple things I do. I only has a 4X4 area to embroidery in but these are under that size.

My Brother machine came with dvd and printed instructions and I was able to figure it out. The machine I have uses a usb cord to connect computer to machine to transfer the designs. It would be great if you could get someone to walk you through it the first time. Hope that helps.
