Many thanks for the link. Just finished a queen size bed quilt using Betty Cotton's QAYG and it was a life saver. Trying to do conventional machine quilting on that large a project would have been a nightmare. Will try this on my next project.

I have done this a couple of times, just seems faster for me to sandwich and just FMQ on my Juki TL98QE or Babylock Jane. I make mostly double or queen and have done larger.

Thanks for sharing this tutorial! I have been wanting to try QAYG but was concerned about the bulk in the seams. This looks like an answer to that problem.
