My suggestion is to go on the website and make a wish list of all the dies you would want to buy. Then look at how many of them can be used on the "baby" size. Is the go baby going to be compatible with all the dies you would would consider essential? Should you hold out and get the go? It actually seems like a good price for the dies and go baby.

I mainly want it to cut strips and charm squares but honestly didn't know how the baby compares to the others - but the price seems so reasonable

I have the baby Go and use a 2 1/2 inch strip die, what a difference. Then I bought extras of course. I think your getting a good deal here. They are expensive and the little bit of material waste isn't much. Fold your material to accommodate the dies. Cutting 6 out at a time is so easy and fast. Have fun with it. - J

great!! thank you so much for you opinion :) I think I may go with it. I don't have the extra $$ to go with the bigger cutter but I really don't think I need to.

I want to cut 5" charms to sell in my Etsy store (to help recoup the cost) of my purchase plus I love sewing 2.5" strips and 5" charms - I rarely use any larger size fabrics.

I have the GO Baby and paid $105 for it and have since gotten several dies off Ebay/Amazon. I think the price is very reasonable and you will LOVE it. I cut tumbler blocks, 3 1/2" squares and 2.5" strips with mine. Good luck!!
