I always leave a piece of thread when I started a new direction. Then I would start sewing from opposite end.

I don't get it. If you cut your strips across the grain, selvage to selvage, your set of strips will have a bow no matter what. All the extra steps are so unnecessary, if the strips are cut with the grain. A cross grain strips which is 40 to 42 inches will loose control one way or the other and the stretch will give a bad set of strips.

The same thing happens when border is cut on the cross grain.

Yes, he is a hunk! I was in hopes when he talked about stripping, that he was really going to do it! I already knew about switching ends for sewing to avoid the arc. I wanted to see some real stripping!

Did you notice the pin cushion wrapping around his forearm? I have certainly never seen a pin cushion that looked so good!

Why not remove the stupid baseball cap....wearing hats too much tends to lead to baldness.....I Harte seeing "men" in restaurants wearing caps......no cap wearing in my house and definitely not at my table....and all male members of my family know that rule...
