This was great! I spent a couple days perusing her site and her blog. After watching some of her videos, I jumped in today. I needed a big quilted square for a different project. Since I'm keeping it for myself, this time, I thought I might as well try some FMQ on it.
Here is what it looks like. I think it turned out okay for my first try. The red is the top, and I used red quilting thread. The green is the back, but I used patriotic red/white/blue thread. I used it on purpose so I could see all the quilting on the back. That way, I can see what I did right and what I need to work on.
