Great Paper Piecing Tutorial!!

I learned something about paper-piecing that's not mentioned in the tutorial. Some blocks are directional, meaning they have a certain direction they are supposed to be. Now the blocks that are shown in the video are the way they should be but the blocks I'm working have light and dark areas that should face a certain direction.
Because I'm using Electric Quilt software, I'm able to mirror-image the pattern so it prints in reverse of what it should be so the block finishes the way it should be. If I didn't have the software, I would have to re-draw the lines on the reverse of the paper pattern and the fabric would be placed on the printer side of the paper and I would sew on the drawn line side. Just the opposite of what is shown in the video.
Probably this is what got me so frustrated the first time I made a PP block and so I gave up trying to figure out what the problem was. Hope this helps someone else avoid that frustration! Chris
