great video for quilting a large quilt on a domestic machine
I posted earlier today without giving credit to this great video. I was researching how to quilt a large quilt on a domestic sewing machine, and this video was sooooo helpful.

I used to roll my quilts, but this one suggested not to do that. I remember my sister telling me the same thing when I first started quilting, but I forgot that advice. But it worked really well for me. It is only a 6 minute video, and it gave me the confidence to tackle my first queen sized quilt. The largest I had done before was a twin size.
Perhaps the video will help someone else...

Thimblebug if you look up Cindy Needham she talks about SITD and what it does for FMQ and the results and look are so much better with the SITD prior to the FMQ so now I see it as a necessary even though it can be difficult

Oh Dina, I guess I do it like your sister does. And you didn't listen to HER!! We are probably the same age!! I only roll the part of the quilt that goes in the harp. Will have to watch this video sometime soon. Thanks for the post !!
