In 2013, I bought remnants of Harry Potter fabric on Ebay so that I could sew a quilt for my third son, who is a superfan. The fabrics had last been in print in 2006. So I was thrilled today to receive an email from Fabric.com that they have new Harry Potter fabric in stock. I only wish there were more colors. The palette is somber.

Joanns carries several prints, in cottons, flannels and fleece.

The Potter movies are somber in general. I loved them all but the got "somberer and somberer" as they went along. The fabric is reflective of the theme. No matter. You son is a fan and I'm sure he will love what you make with the fabric.
