    Thanks for the link. I've wanted to make something like this for my small travel iron not the small flat iron.

    Here's what I don't understand...
    "Tuck your **HOT** irons inside the case and you are ready to go! Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for the **HOT** iron and allow the iron to **COOL** before inserting it into the case."

    So if I have to let the HOT iron COOL before putting it into the case...why do I need a special case for HOT irons?

    maybe just let it cool a little before putting it inside of the travel case

    Yup I agree you just have to wait a while until it isn't red hot to put it in there. My clover came with one of these and that is how I do it.
