Default How to make a design wall.

This blogger uses some "bad" language, but this looks like a clever way to make a design wall. http://thebitchystitcher.blogspot.com

Each of us have different space for design walls, so that is the definition for what meets our need. I have a set of cabinets that their doors surface is the only space for mine, so I tapped a 1/2 sheet of insulation board on each door .
Then cover each board with a piece of batting. this allows the doors to be opened even if I have quilt blocks on them. works better than hanging the batting on the doors.

Quilters have different needs to the type of design wall and there are many ways to make it out of almost everything that a quilter has in their stash. I prefer the ones with insulation because I like to use pins !!

if you can overlook her "expressions of personality", this is a great design wall, especially for ppl in an apartment or renting like she is.
I'm inspired now. Maybe now I can stop tacking a sheet to my top bookshelves and get more stuff done.

I personally found the title of her book very offensive, but it's her right, just like it is my right to not buy a book where the title is offensive to me.

I was very surprised by the title of the book, and if I hadn't been directed to her blog by someone here, would probably have passed on by.
I'm glad that I didn't let that stop me, bc I am going to use this information to good advantage.
I do wonder how her book will do on the market. Some may actually be curious.
To each his own I s'pose

Thank you for this link. I had not heard of this blog before but it is now bookmarked! As far as the title of her "book" ... it was an April Fool's joke, it doesn't exist ... take a deep breath ... be calm, people.
