Just last night I had a bunch of teeny Bohin applique pins in my mouth. No longer...thanks for article.

Thank goodness I really use pins anymore since discovering the wonder clips, but I will remember this

I am in the same boat, but this was a definite eye opener - thanks for sharing

I generally use a pincushion, but recently have stuck a couple in my mouth. Definitely going to try to avoid that now, especially since one had the flower break off while I was holding it.

Just had a thought. The reason we put pins in our mouths, is we are trying to get rid of them quickly while doing something else with our fingers. How about a magnet pin cushion hanging around our neck. Couldn't be too big so it wouldn't be too heavy, but it would get the pins out of our hands quickly.

I also have to thank Olfa for posting it on their FB page!

One good thing from going gluten free, I never lick envelopes anymore so no cockroach eggs for me!

After I read this I sent it to everyone who quilts that is in my email address book! I have ~ HAD the habit of leaving the sewing needle in my mouth when I pull thread from the spool to re-thread the needle. Thank-you for posting this thread!
