Hi Pete!
I sewed it at the top edge of the piano key border just under the pink border. It is not in the seam but sewn on top right at the seam between pink and piano key borders. Does this make sense? If not I have some of the piano key border left and I can take a photo and show it to you.
Pete here is a schematic of how where I put the lace. Hope this helps. Y
