"16 square ft."

Am I reading this right?!? 16 square feet of 1 - 4 oz. [1/16" thick] Suede split hide?

I was thinking it's 4 foot by 4 foot piece (16 sq. ft).

cool beans- I say that a lot. Now I know I'm not the only crazy one here. :)

I have some canvas that I think will work nice with this pattern, thanks Sondray!

Thanks, this is really neat. Not hard to line & make it out of fabric or quilt.

Buying leather and animal hides is a bit of a learning curve, mainly because animals aren't square. I've got a 12 sq ft hide upstairs and it's not as big as you'd think.
