My daughter called me today to tell me that she knows someone selling an old treadle sewing machine. I looked at the pictures of it and it needs a belt, but that's no big deal. It needs a lot of cleaning but otherwise looks in good condition. They are selling it for $100. I think it is a good buy. What do you think? The woman selling it is going to get back to us later today with more details. I might have to go and take a look at it. Any advice on what to look for?
