Michael's bought Hancock Fabrics brand
Not quite sure what they are going to do with it, except that they will have all our addresses and info if we got their flyers?? http://www.chainstoreage.com/article...9&mid=21397055
It does say patents, and trademarks. Did they actually have a special brand they sold? I did not shop there often because of the distance, so not familiar with brands sold.

The purchase includes all the customer information from Hancocks as well. (I don't think the financial information of customers is included though.)

Michaels never did sell fabric, so maybe now they will expand into it? It seems to me that all of the Hancocks sold right down to the last crumb of anything in their stores by their last day, so I'm wondering what was left to sell to Michaels. I guess we'll find out in the days ahead.

If you're in the Hancock's database, you should've gotten an email about it. It provides several ways for you to opt out of having your information transferred if you don't want it passed on. I did this today and it was really easy.
