Default Missouri Star tutorials

Is anyone else completely hooked on the Missouri Star web site....those tutorials are just great...have done "disappearing 4 patch", disappearing 9 patch, disappearing pinwheel, exploding block...just love them...check it out...I'm doing exploding block quilt now that I want to be 90x90 when done...scraps are "disappearing" (pun) at a fast rate LOL

LindaR, I agree with you on the "disappearing" points but that block can't be beat for a quick donation quilt.

Default Exploding block

I tried this block and loved it. Told a friend to watch the video and she came up with a great idea. So I tried it. I made two identical blocks, then sewed them on all four sides right sides together. Then cut one on the diagonal (block on left). Then I did the same thing with two more blocks, but the colours were reversed (block on right).

I've made the big star quilt and the heart quilt. They went so fast and turned out really well. Love the tutes!
