    I don't know if anyone else does this, but when I have an inner and outer border that I want mitered, I sew the 2 borders together like a strip set, then press, and proceed as if it were one border. I do it like the video demo. Thanks for sharing the link.

    This is a great point. I figured this out after I had border #1 on and still had 2 more to add, so I sewed those two together and then sewed to quilt. What a breeze. Thanks for bringing that up

    I've been doing mitered corners like this for ages; it's easy, and now I feel like a slacker if I slap on straight borders.

    I've been putting off finishing a quilt because it needed a mitered border and I was having trouble with it. This is perfect! Thank you for posting.
