I love the color palette she used, Jenny Beyer does have beautiful colors in her fabrics, but I might use other fabrics so that I don't have to buy any new fabric. But there are many other projects on the back burners that need to get done first. At least the project will be in the next Block magazine.
Exactly my experience with that... binding tool, I watched and watched the tutorial and never could get the binding to come out using that tool, I'm so glad I'm not the only one that had problems.

NOW I can use it for this tutorial to make the "Binding Tool Star Quilt."

The one binding tutorial that I've used many, many times now, that works wonderfully for me is from Heirloom Creations on YouTube

I always had a hard time connecting my binding. The binding tool was the answer to my prayers. I absolutely love it.
I've made table runners using it as a template. The runners look like french braids when finished.

I love this new M*QC tutorial - I don't have the Binding Tool but I have a similar ruler that will work - I am trying to keep from buying anymore fabric also - I have so much - I just need to use my stash.
