Glad you stopped by! The car is applique. The candy cane is pieced. I really do love PP. My site has been live for about a year. I also have a FREE BOM which I send out instead of having to remember. I am terrible at remembering until it's too late. I love meeting new quilters!

The totes sound fun! This is a fun forum with lots of friendly people.

Hi, and we are glad you are here! Yes this is a great forum. Everyone is so nice but aren't all quilters in gerneral? I think I may be visiting your site this weekend. I have an idea for the car. My nephew love cars and he is growing up fast. I have been savine auto fabric for quilt a while but did not want to do the same ol same ol with just cars. So I think I can incorporate that pattern in to a nice quilt for him. And of course the Candy Cane. That is just a must. I piece but I know how to paper piece too. Most of it I like but some gets too much and all you see are lines. Well to me that is..... Again it is great to meet you. Will have to find out about your BOM. Are you going to do this one with us? Hope so.... :D

Yes Renee...her patterns are quick and simple from what I have seen so far. And, just remember that each time you sew a project, or a block, etc you will continue to learn. So jump right in!! We'll walk you thru it if you need it but, I doubt you will need it:))Go for it!! Skeat

I emailed Tina about the tote and this is the reply:

    Hi Donna Rae,
I'm glad you are enjoying the mysteries. The tote bag won't be posted until next week unfortunately. We are having a wedding in the family this weekend so my time is definitely not my own lol. I'll send out an email and let y'all know as soon as I have it ready.
    Have a great weekend.
    Tina

I think it is okay because it gives us all a reprieve. But there is another mystery starting here which is stars. The host writes at her forum that it is not hard and good for beginners too. She is only posting twice a month so she gives lots of time to do the mystery. So you might want to do that one also. I am. I think since it is the 2 weeks I can do it and if not then I will just get behind. I am though very excited about the tote because this is a first. So what does every one think? Oh and the other one is Mystery Star in this same forum and the frist star has been posted.
