We are visiting our daughter in New Bern, NC and I am very pleased to find out there is a new quilt shop here. It is the Sewing on the River Shop (that would be the Nuese River), on Market Street. It is really a lovely store which handles Baby lock machines and offers a variety of classes as well as a large selection of beautiful fabrics. This area has been lacking in LQS so this one is a welcome addition. If you are in the area, stop in. Unfortunately we are here for only a few days, but sure glad I got to shop this afternoon!

It's good to hear about new shops starting up. Seems like these days all we are hearing about are those closing down. Best of luck to the new shop in New Bern, NC.
