    Oh, I bought the oyster prints and love them. Sturdy, non-transparent cotton. Also some fat quarters with white background and sea creature printed. Colors are vibrant, and I have no complaints. I will order more of the oyster prints. How do they compare to Spoonflower? Cotton fabric seems similar in its sturdy-ness. The colors are more vibrant, IMO. than SF. Also, SF is rather pricey, but sometimes custom fabric is worth it. I feel that their sampler is a good deal for 30 swatches of 6"x8".
    The sample that I received in the mail from Iceblossom is not the same cotton as the oyster print cotton. It is a beautiful print, but transparent when held up to light.

    As far as pattern spacing goes, SF allows you to resize spacing and repeat options.

    Overall, I prefer the colors on the Mega store.

    Speaking of places to order fabric (we were??).... Marshal Dry Goods, (MDG), has really nice fabrics and their prices are great. I've purchased from them for years, never disappointed.. Just thought I'd throw that out there. ;o)

    I chatted with my friend Barb in Arizona who doesn't post. I had sent her a full (1/2 yard) piece of the grunge print fabric for her review. She was pleased with the printing and felt the weight/weave was quilting piecing quality, but it wasn't quite what she wanted in terms of backing fabric, a little light.

    But apparently that means that my e-coupon to share with someone is available, if someone wants to use it let me know!

    @Iceblossom
    Sorry I haven't responded before now. We got the samples right before vacation and then we were trying to recover from vacation!

    I agree with your friend Barb that the fabrics are a bit light. But the printing is nice and the colors are good. Overall, I would use these fabrics without hesitation, but maybe not on a baby quilt that would be washed often. I think I will probably order a couple of those MCM designs, including the teal star in my first post. Thanks for being the guinea pig for us and sharing your fabric and evaluation.
