Definitely intriguing ... I like all the extra markings, so that if you want to do a much wider than normal seam allowance, it is ready to go.

How is it held in place?
.. double faced tape? or?
Would want to make sure that the lines on the straight away ....

I’m guessing that if your machine has a laser, it would do the same thing right? Just line up the laser line on the diagonal?

Thank you. That is a good idea. I like the look of this and it would probably work better than my "crazy carpet".

I think so .. in fact it appears to be marketed for that purpose. They don't really advertise using it for HST as Harriet described. Looks very useful to me.
