Default New quilting tool So cool idea

I have a longarm class and just got back from it. Where I purchased this new training tool for longarm machine quilters. Or there is also one for sit down quilting, like training you for freehand stippling on your home sewing machine. I thought the idea was really super. I purchased one of each. It helps train the brain with the hand
eye, brain. Here is the link. I understand she will be selling them in person at the Road To California Quilt show
also. http://www.laliladesign.com/ Hope you enjoy Ruthie

It is a good idea! I taped a pen to the front of my sewing machine trying to do the same thing. The tape didn't really hold as well as I hoped.

I guess I just don't see how spending that amount of money will help you quilt better. I have a mid-arm machine. The hardest part was probably learning to walk and quilt at the same time, so using this tool won't help with that part of quilting. Like with anything else, practice, practice, practice.

That is cool! I could also use a tool to help me get better at quilting on my domestic, like a mousehole into which I must stuff my heaviest winter coat. That's kind of how it feels to me when I wrestle a quilt around. LOL

I have to agree. I don't have any trouble with a 12" square in my DSM ... it is doing it while fighting with the rest of the quilt that is the problem.

I think it's pretty cool... And for LynnVT: they do also have one to be used on a domestic machine. Free shipping through Dec. 12. Could be a great Christmas gift from DH who never knows what to get me and will NOT go into a LQS to buy a gift certificate! :/

I was in the afternoon class and I bought one also. Just what I needed. I hope she will have enough of them at Road to Ca. I'm sure they will sell like hotcakes.
